This homemade costume for boys entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Stephanie, the 'Bowser' costume creator:
My 4 year old LOVES Bowser - but didn’t want the one at Target. Plus, MN at Halloween… you need something warm! So, I handmade a Bowser costume for my little guy. I used a dinosaur costume pattern from Simplicity to make the body, feet, hands. Also handmade the shell with flannel and stuffing. The only piece I didn’t attempt to make was the head… luckily, I found a Bowser hat made by Nintendo. It was adult sized, so a perfect “big” fit for my kiddo.
He was a hit! We saw a LOT of Bowsers this Halloween. But my little guy was the warmest and in my opinion, the cutest, one out there!
