This homemade costume for families entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bip, the 'Brave Family' costume creator:
Since it's my wee girl's first Halloween, we dressed up as the family from the movie Brave but as if Merida was a baby. I handmade Merida's dress, including embroidery along the hem and neckline. I hacked a blanket to make King Fergus's cloak and glued strips of fabric to old tennis shoes for his boots. I also added hair to a wig and styled it for Queen Elinor and colored King Fergus's hair.
