A word from Judith, the 'Bride of Frankenstein' costume creator:
I'm the one in the picture wearing the costume, the idea came from my boss pointing out that this natural shock I have of grays in my hair reminded her of Bride of Frankenstein. I bought a 4-in-one bedding set at Deals for $10 to make this costume, white hairspray from Party City for $2, white face make-up for about $2 and used magenta eye shadow and eye liner that I had at home.
I used the bed cover to wrap around like a toga and a cut a hole in the bed sheet to serve as the robe which I then pinned up on each shoulder with safety pins to allow for the flowiness. I made the arm wraps by cutting shreds from the pillow case and wrapping them around with double sided tape placed in some parts.
The hair is made using half of a soda bottle for the base and wrapping the hair around it. The stitches have a base of the eye shadow with the stitches drawn in by eyeliner
