Broken Doll Costume

Pictured is my beautiful daughter, Madi Moorehead. Madi decided this year she wanted to do a “scary” costume. This was a bit foreign for us, because we have always stuck with the usual princess and unicorn type costumes. But my goodness did she rock this character! She chose to be a “Broken Doll”. The concept/follow through was very simple, and very inexpensive. We used a loose fitting white dress that she already had, that fit the part perfectly, embracing the vintage look. She wore jazz shoes to give it that raw, barefoot look. And then just add the stage makeup, the extra teased hair and a half a bottle of hairspray, and she was transformed! She had a blast with it... as did we creating it :)
