Buzz Lightyear in Pizza Planet's Space Crane Costume

My son is wearing the buzz lightyear costume and my daughter is wearing the alien costume. One of my favorite scenes in the first toy story movie was "the claw". Since my son loves Buzz lightyear and all things rocketship, I decided to make him a rocketship but give it a twist and add the claw in it.

The base is cardboard, foam, a clear umbrella, and metallic fabric. I found alien napkins at a store called Daiso and used that to cover up cardboard. For the space crane claw, I used headbands and then braided some ribbon to give it more of a chain-like look. of course it needed an alien plush to top it off and a light so that my son could see where he was walking at night time. For the outside of the crane, I created the prize box where candy could be placed and purchased a joystick so kids could interact w/ the crane. I also purchased a recordable button so that when you pushed it, you could hear the aliens say "oooooooooooooooo. A stranger from the outside. Greetings I am Buzz Lightyear!" My son had a blast trick or treating and by the end of the night he was sitting in a wagon w/ his rocket on and collecting candy in his prize bin.
