This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Camila, the 'California Gurl' costume creator:
In Japan we have a 100Y store (like a dollar store) where my friends play the 12 min game. We have a budget of not more than 1200Y and we have to buy things within the time limit. With only 300 yen I bought materials for the cupcakes that I sewed to my bikini. It was a really original costume to wear around Tokyo - first time I dont walk around spotting ppl with my same idea.
Of course I also brought candy along and played as a Candyfornia girl would, imitating the music video...
Unfortunately I didnt win any price, but I did feel this was one of the most popular costumes!!!
