This homemade costume for boys entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sandra, the 'Cannon Ball Boy' costume creator:
Wearing the costume is 5 year old Fletcher Neukerchin of New Berlin, Wisconsin. When asked what he wanted to be for Halloween, Fletcher replied "a cannon ball guy". We giggled. Well lets see if we can make that work. Dad made the cannon out of cardboard, painted it and attached it to a cart from a riding toy. Mom picked up a white shirt and blue pants from Wal-Mart. Grandpa cut the vinyl piece for the shirt by hand and grandma made the stars all out of iron on vinyl from her cricut machine. More vinyl stars were made for the helmet which they had already.
