Caps For Sale Book Costume

Caps for sale is one of our families favorite books. Brother age 3 is the Peddler. I got the idea to make the caps from pipe insulation from coolest homemade costumes. I had to modify their tutorial. I used a low temp glue gun a placemat from the dollar store and spray painted the caps wants they individually pieced together. Sisters are the monkeys from the story. I used a variety of thrift store finds for the monkeys. Brown Leggings and brown longsleeve shirt. I found fuzzy scarfs for the tummy’s and and tails. The tails add a stiff wire and cotton then attached to tutu. The monkey ears were lady big ears I modified with paint from dollar tree. The baby monkey was an old Old Navy costume found at the thrift store.
