This homemade costume for boys entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Carrie, the 'Captain Big E' costume creator:
My 7 year old son Ethan (we call him Big E) is wearing the costume. The costume is made our of cardboard, black gorilla tape and love. Strictly DIY style. My son told me he wanted to be a Pirate so I started in July to construct his Pirate Ship called The Barbaric Corruption. Pictures do not do it justice. There is music with the ship and my son pushes the boat. I also designed a Treasure Chest that my son uses to trick or treat with that he places in the ship as he moves. The ship is all lit up for night time and can be seen from a distance. Enjoy!!
