Captain-ess Planet Costume

This is my 2019 Halloween dedication to the progress being made by those like Greta and others around the world to combat climate change. I have always adored the Captain Planet show and the fact that it resonates today made me excited to finally go full blue body and rock it.
I hope this costume is appreciated for the sentiment behind it. As a child who came from an confusing and frequently abusive home life, nature was my reprieve. It was my literal mother that I turned to. Now that the planets resources are threatened, I feel a personal affront. Here is a call to awareness and to do whatever it takes to raise awareness in others. This costume was made with second hand resources and a huge heart.
