Captain Smith & the Titanic Costume

My 6yr old son is completely obsessed with the Titanic and it is all he wanted to be for Halloween, so my husband and I created his dream costume. My son wanted to make sure it was the correct colors and had 4 smoke stacks just like the real titanic. I originally had not gotten him a beard and he made sure I ordered him one because Captain Smith has a beard.

The base is the costume is made from cardboard to form the ship. We used different colors of duck tape to cover it. The smoke stacks are made from plastic bottles covered in duck tape and some batting. Windows are made with punched out cardatock.
