Captured Walker Costume

I dressed as a captured walker from The Walking Dead. The majority of this costume is homemade/recycled goods. Bought clothes at a thrift store so I wouldn't worry about ruining by tearing/painting. Made a paper mâché arm stump prosthesis in place of my left arm (which I kept bandaged under my chest). I have a latex allergy, so rather than store bought latex for skin, I used toilet paper in Elmer's glue, one layer at a time, and a blow dryer to dry between layers. Then I used regular eye shadow for coloring, along with some grey grease paint bought at Walmart. All blood was homemade (3 drops red food coloring, and 2 drops blue, in Karo syrup). Used paracord to tie around my waist so my bf could lead his captured walker around. Makeup application took roughly 4 hours. Completely worth it :)
