This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sue, the 'Caramel Candy Apple' costume creator:
My Granddaughter is wearing the costume. We had a great time making it together! We used a large balloon covered with layers and layers of paper Mache) for the apple form. We decorated with caramel color paint, straws, shredded paper, crepe paper and paper plates for the candy decorations. I even made her a candy sprinkle container for her trick or treating goodies.
I wanted to make her something that I had never seen as a costume. :)
