Carrie White Costume

My name is Bella and I made my costume over a few days. I'm a huge fan of horror films, and Carrie is one of my absolute favourites. My inspiration comes from a drag queen named Raja (who won season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race). She wore a similar headpiece for one of the challenges, and ever since I watched that episode, I've been dead set on trying to recreate it. It's pretty much just a wire sculpture hot glued to a hat and wrapped in duck tape! It's hard to explain because I thought of it as I went along but the end result is really satisfying. After the headpiece, I went thrifting for a silk dress, bought a whole lot of blood, and went to town on bloodying it up. My friends helped to get me soaked in blood, so we all had a great time.
