Gossamer and Bugs Bunny Costume

Gossamer is so iconic for only being in 1 or 2 cartoons and we hadn't seen too many people try to pull off that costume. I went as Bugs Bunny for a natural compliment to his costume.

For him, we bought a ton off red fur fabric and basically sewed it together in a basic shape, adding the legs and arms later. To create the height and the shape of Gossamer's head we used spray foam insulation to make a lightweight form that that he basically wore like a bonnet!

My costume utilizes a bought grey bodysuit that I added the white fur accents to. I made the feet oversized by destroying some old sneakers, covered in fabric and stuffed with polyfil. The mask was a challenge. I used paper mache and covered that with fabric. The mouth area is just white fur fabric, stuffed and glued to the mask.
