This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angel, the 'Real Monsters Ickis & Oblina' costume creator:
Me and my girlfriend Veronica doing the 90s kid throwback costumes! Aaahh!!! Real Monsters is a 90s cartoon show from Nickelodeon.
Both costumes are a combination of bedding foam, cardboard, wire hangers, and some fabric. Veronica stitched together her unitard from two that she bought, and I got burgundy leggings for the arm sleeves and my legs. Lots of drawing to plan the shapes, lots of cutting and hot glue gun action, and here we go!
