This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Wendi, the 'Stormer from The Misfits' costume creator:
For the longest time I wanted to be Stormer, the nice guitarist from The Misfits, from the Jem and the Holograms cartoon.
So this year I did it. I had a pink tank top and found zebra tights from JoAnn Fabrics. I cut them up and safety pinned them to the top (because a Misfit would do that). I found a blue wig and a orange orchid to put in it (also from JoAnn Fabrics). For a black skirt just grabbed one from the closest. Grabbed a pair of black heels for shoes and bought cheap thigh high fishnets.
