This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sherri, the 'The Rubbles' costume creator:
Barney Betty and bambam along with a bedrock mobile! Partly handmade!
Barney - I made his sack out of a heavy fabric I found that had fur on it. Mask and feet were bought.
Betty - Outfit/Wig/feet were store bought.
Bambam - I made his under clothes so he would be warm but more skin colored. Then I made his loin cloth with fabric and felt and the sash with left over Barney material. We found a inflatable bat.
Bedrock mobile - We crafted this with card board and LOTS of spray foam which was then spray painted. And Fabric, even some paper towel rolls. It was perfect to carry him around in to trick or treat.
