Cat and Scratching Post Costume

My boyfriend Patrick and I dressed up as a cat and scratching post. We personally own three cats so we thought it would be a great idea to do something cat related. The scratching post was made from a hamper with the top and bottom cut out, with a carpet floor runner attached to the outside of it. The hat is made from a gift box with carpet glued to the outside. My costume consisted of cat ears, a tail, a furry vest and cat-like makeup. It was a huge hit at our party!
