A word from Kerri, the 'Elvis' costume creator:
My 3yr old son Kolsen is dressed in an Elvis costume I made. I went with Elvis this year because of how much my son loves to dance, he moves his hips a lot like the king. To make this costume I took a white jean jacket, white jeans, red fabric and silky white fabric, multi color of sequins, hot glue gun, cardboard, and some fabric glue. I found a eagle design on the internet I liked and just used it for my pattern of placing sequins on the jacket and back of cape. All the other sequins used were just a free handed design. I slit the sides of the jeans up about 3 1/2 inches then hot glued in the red fabric for the leg flares. Belt was made from thin cardboard then wrapped in white fabric and sequins added. Cape was put together with iron on seam tape and added sequins in shape of eagle. Once costume was completed (took about 10hrs), I sprayed my blonde haired son with black wash out hair dye and penciled on some side burns. And there ya have it... Elvis
