This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amanda, the 'Von Trapps' costume creator:
The Sound of Music is one of my favorite things! My husband Tony is dressed as the Captain, I am Maria, our daughter Madelyn is Liesl, our daughter Sophia is Brigitta, and our son Lucas is Kurt. We were a few Von Trapps shy, but we were the life of the neighborhood! We kept our coats in the guitar case and played the soundtrack everywhere we went. The hat my husband is wearing is one I bought in Austria many years ago.
