Chain Chomp Dog's Costume

This year, the family costume theme was Super Mario villains and our dog, Taco, was assigned Chain Chomp. Taco and Chain Chomp both "bark" a lot, have crazy eyes, and try to bite people so it fits. I made this costume out of an orange plastic pumpkin that I cut up, painted black, and to which I glued a felt face. The chain is from the dollar store, painted grey, and felt/glue/rigged inside the pumpkin. The total dollar cost was about three dollars because I already had the pumpkin and the paint; the total almost-being-bitten-during-fittings cost was quite a bit higher. Taco was not at all amused by his costume but I think it looks pretty awesome. Happy Halloween!
