Chanel Bag Dog Costume

Terence knows a dog should be two things: classy and fabulous. That's why he decided to go as a Chanel bag for this year's Halloween.

I (Sarah his mom) used a shoe box, cut it in half and wrapped it in muslin. Cut a slit in the muslin for his head and reinforced the hole with some felt. Covered the whole thing in pink/orange tweed using a glue gun and some precise cutting/folding. Added a gold chain link necklace for the bag handle. Cut out a flap and pocket to place on the outside of the bag. Used cardboard and an exacto knife to cute out the "CC" and covered it with gold paper!
