Chester Cheetah Costume

My son came up with the idea of being Chester Cheetah. He’s already got the red-orange hair so why not?! I hot glued white fleece to the shirt and painted on cheetah dots to the best of my artistic ability. Some white high tops, gloves, face paint, and black sunglasses later and we’re in business. He even passed out snack size bags of Cheetos as he trick-or-treated in which the adults handing out candy got a kick out of! In case he wasn’t recognizable enough I went along as my best attempt at a Cheeto Puff. Orange fleece was traced around my body and cut out. Once again, hot glue is my friend. I hot glued the two sides but ran out of time to find stuffing so I used grocery sacks to form the top. To keep the sacks from falling I hot glued a cardboard form to a ball cap and covered the bill with orange fleece. I put on the cap, costume, adjust, adjust, adjust, give up, and voila! “It’s not easy being cheesy!”-Chester Cheetah
