Chia Pet Costume

Emmy is my 3 year old Pug. I was trying to figure out what to dress Emmy up as for Halloween and I thought Chia pet because her face looks just like a chia pet. However, her body does not. So I had to create it. I bought a green cable knit dog sweater and a lot of plastic aquarium plants. I cut each "stalk" off of the aquarium plant and poked it through the sweater holes. This created the Chia Pet body. I lined the underneath with fleece so Emmy would be comfortable. I used a non toxic orange hair spray to spray her legs orange.
