This homemade costume for women entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sandy, the 'Chiquita' costume creator:
This is my Chiquita costume.... started for the love of Carman Miranda, and of course, the love Chiquita bananas! I have made this by hand, and every year I seem to add more fruit! I am 5'5", and the costume brings me to 7' tall :) I wear this for Halloween, and also visit the grade schools and hand out real bananas! To promote good eating habits. The little kids love it!!!!!
