This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angela, the 'Christmas Tree' costume creator:
This is my beautiful daughter Isabella, age 5, who is dressed as a beautiful Christmas tree!! Isabella was a flower girl in a wedding September and I knew the dress would never fit her again... So my wheels started going... I wanted something original and not the run of the mill princess costume... I dyed the dress green and started on my project!! Thankfully all the stores already had Christmas decorations out, so I hand sewed tinsel garland and bows onto the dress. The finishing touch was a strand of battery operated lights!
