Chucky Costume

After thinking of something that was her size and scary the Chucky idea was born and I transformed my 2 yr old daughter into a real life Chucky. It was a HUGE hit! She turned every head on Halloween as we trick-or-treated down the streets from house to house. People were scared of her,and we had plenty of stares. We had people stopping us wanting to take pics of her, telling us how much she looked like the real deal, and how awesomely real she looked. Not one person even knew she was actually a girl, lol. All of this made me feel that I had accomplished what I was going for.

I started her costume by looking for similar clothes that Chucky wore online and at 2nd hand stores. After I found everything for her wardrobe, I focused on her facial look. I bought washable hair color spray (orange & red) and mixed the two in her hair, blending and positioning it with my hands. For her makeup I used a black liquid eyeliner for the stitches, black eyeshadow for under eye shadowing, and red lipstick for the wound lines. I drew stitches over some of the red wound lines with the black eyeliner and mixed both red lipstick and black eye shadow together on the eyelid and under the eye. Even for a toddler who won't sit still, it was easy and quick as she sat in her high chair.
The overall cost for her costume and look was around $75.
