This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Justine, the 'Cleopatra' costume creator:
Depicted is myself wearing a home-made Cleopatra costume...Inspired by the late Elizabeth Taylor who starred in the movie Cleopatra released in 1963. I found the dress, belt, and snake bracelet at a thrift shop. These 3 items cost a total of 5 dollars, and i bought the shoes and head piece at a Halloween store. My mom helped me tailor the dress to fit perfectly, by cutting off the sleeves, making a v-neckline, and cutting the dress at a angle. The belt was also tailored.
