This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Zulema, the 'Cobalt Blue Tarantula' costume creator:
Roman wanted to be a hairy spider and we looked up Tarantulas and a Cobalt Blue Tarantula showed up. Roman loves blue so this was his choice.
I made the body out of fur material and lined it with foam. The spider legs were made with pipe insulation tubes and I stuck a piece of picture hanging cables in each leg to bend them. For the eyes I used sequined buttons
