This homemade costume for couples entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sammy, the 'Colonel Sanders and his Chicken' costume creator:
Me and my partner dressed as a kfc couple this year - he was Colonel Sanders and I the not-yet-fried chicken.
We made my chicken feet from plastic bags and looped them into my laces, a fluffy dress paired with a fluffy boa and a chicken headband.
We painted my partner's arpron with acrylic paint after drawing on the lines and the KFC logo, it took multiple coats of paint but we got there in the end. Paired with a black ribbon from the handle of a gift bag, ironed, and many cans of white hair spray to turn his black hair as white/grey as possible.
We had so much fun with our first ever couples costume.
