Talking Baby Doll Costume

I got the idea for the costume I am modeling by playing with the dolls of a little girl I was babysitting. I remembered when you had to pull a string to get the doll to talk. And how, after a while, the sound thing would break and the doll would keep saying the same thing over and over and over and come alive at night and try to kill you and MOMMY! Anyway, I got the fabrics in the quilting section of my local fabric store and patch-worked them together in ruffly layers. I added a real, working ring (swim toy) that could be pulled and would return using a badge reel from an office supply store. In total, the costume probably cost about $40, plus sewing time. However, as I did not pay for a single drink all night, I call it a wash.
