This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Doris, the 'Marine Cpl.' costume creator:
My grandson Levi Cox is wearing my homemade Marine Cpl. Dress Blue Uniform. My ideas came from his Uncles, (both my Boys are Marines). I looked at their book camp pictures to find the regulations for the costume. This costume cost approx. $45.00 to make. I purchased USMC EGAs at Army/Navy store. And borrowed the metals from my Son. No patterns. My utmost respect to the Marine Corps seamstress', the cover/hat & the shirt/jacket was very difficult. Thank You for concideration of my costume.
