Medusa Costume

As a lover of greek mythology, I have always wanted to do Medusa as one of my cosplays. Unfortunately I didn't have time to make the moving snakes I wanted but that will be coming soon.

This costume is 100% hand made. I made the dress out of some snakeskin print material and stuffed the tail with polyfill. The tail was attached to invisible thread that was attached to my wrist so it didn't drag. The headpiece was made from a wig I trimmed short and then sewed tons of little rubber snakes to. I topped it off with some vampire fangs and a brilliant makeup job by a champion body paint artist
