Minions from Despicable Me Group Costume

I'm a pretty crazy costume builder. My wife asked me to make a Minion costume followed by her friends asking for them too. Luckily they all agreed to sacrifice comfort for accuracy. We’re going to get extra use by taking them to the pediatric hospitals in the Seattle area.

Each is made with EVA foam tubes and a dome shaped paper mache head. Everything is upholstered with fleece to hide imperfections. The goggles are a mix of foam, acrylic plastic, pantyhose stretched over a frame, and furniture nails to imitate rivets. The purple minion uses coconut husk mats to form the hair. The Bee Doo minion has dollar store pitchers trimmed and painted to form the flashing head lights.
