Scary Clown Carrying Jester Illusion Costume

My son AJ is wearing the costume. I got the idea online of the whole illusion costumes. This is my spin on the costume, using what I already had at home. Hope you like it!!

I started with a paper mache form from my mannequin. I put it in one of those reusable bags and sewed the handles on the front of the bag to be worn like a backpack. I decorated a box with felt and foam to look like a Jack in the Box. I attached the mannequin form to the box with lots of string and wire. Added arms with a foam noodle cut in half, taped and glued it down. Taped a Styrofoam head on, but you could use anything to hold the mask on. I also glued extra fabric to the sides of the box and the inside middle of the box to completely cover my sons legs. I glued the legs to another clown costume on the front and used some red tights stuffed with polyfoam to look like legs.
