Fish and Fisherman Costume

This is my boyfriend and I as a fish and Fisherman. The fish costume is a old dance body suit that I updated with regular acrylic paint and sewed on sequins fabric to have the effect of fins and seaweed. I teased back my hair and dyed is blue and lastly went wild with face paint to complete the look. The fish man was quite simple. We went to the dollarstore and got tackles and glued them on the whole outfit. We ended up getting so many compliments .. People were quite impressed as we were walking down the street to the party we were going to. The fish costume is definitely one of the most time consuming costumes I have created.
