Optimus Prime Adult Costume

I spent approx 20 accumulative hours over 25 days working on this project. It was made entirely out of cardboard, foam board, duct tape, hot glue, velcro, bolts/screws, and only a few purchased materials. I started on the chest piece, then the feet, then helmet, arms, torso, and finally hand-painted the pants because there was no room left for more cardboard for my thighs. I did not try this costume on all together until an hour before I had to go to the party so I did not know if it would work out until the last second! This has been a labor of love and I hope everyone enjoys the pictures. The party I wore it to was a huge success and everyone wanted to take pictures next to a Prime!
