This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Christina, the 'Peacock Princess' costume creator:
I am a regular at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and love searching for Peacock Feathers. what you see is almost two years of Peacock Feathers attached to a hand-made costume (with the exception of the bodice, which is store-bought. I made the wings and attached small black feathers as a background to accentuate the Peacock feathers. The mask was a rather generic, store-bought mask that I decorated, painted and attached gems throughout as I did the rest of the costume.
