Popeye and Olive Oyl Costume

My daughter Alyvia (4 months old) and dog Caiden are dressed up as Olive Oil and Popeye. I chose this costume because Alyvia loves her puppy and Caiden loves her too! They are the perfect couple just like Popeye and Olive Oil are in the classic cartoon, "Popeye and Friends!"

How to Instructions:

Olive Oil: I bought a black skirt and shirt and glued yellow felt on it to make the trim. I used white felt to make the collar. The headband is a crocheted piece that a friend made for me. She is also wearing white stockings and black booties.

Popeye: I bought a black shirt and a pair of blue pants. I used red felt to make the collar and glued black felt as the trim. I also used yellow felt to make the buttons on the shirt.
I then found a pattern online for the two hat and also used felt for to make that. To make popeyes arms, I used stockings and put stuffing in them. I attached it (glued) to the black long sleeve shirt and drew on the anchor with marker. Lastly, I found a play-can and printed out a "popeye spinach" picture and glued it on.
