This homemade costume for pets entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angela, the 'Squirrel' costume creator:
This is Tessa the squirrel. Tessa loves to chase squirrels, her favorite toy is a stuffed squirrel and her best friend is the squirrel that sits in a tree outside of our house and teases her all day. Like any other parent who is dressing up their child as the popular super hero or Disney princess that all the kids love and have to be this year I figured my child aka dog should also get to be her favorite "character" and that is how the squirrel suit came to be....It is made from a child size grey sweatshirt and a grey bath towel. What is missing from the photo are her two nuts aka her parents who were dressed as acorns.
