This homemade costume for adults entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Savanna, the 'Wicket the Ewok' costume creator:
My whole family are starwars nerds, so I knew at some point I would nave to be a starwars character for halloween. I decided to be an Ewok because they're my favorite starwars characters. I tried to find tutorials for Ewok costumes on YouTube but I couldn't find any that were what I was looking for, so I just decided to make it up myself. I collected the supplies I would need over a few months and then got to work on it. It wasn't too difficult to make compared to a lot of costumes that are around, so I'm estimating that I only put in around 12-15 hours total (that's including mistakes)
I'm not a professional costume maker by any means, i enjoy making my own costumes and I find that you can get a much greater costume if you make one rather then buy one. I hope to be able to get a good tutorial up on YouTube for this costume so that others will be able to make this costume easily. I hope you like my costume!
