Captain America Costume

I decided to make a female version of Captain America for myself this year! It took several attempts of different designs I drew for myself to get exactly what I felt look best. I pieced together a few clothing items found at thrift stores and out of my closet I thought would be perfect for the costume, I hand painted the corset so it would look exactly how I wanted, then went to the craft store and made the shield all myself out of cardboard, paper, craft foam, duct tape, and paint. I wore this to New York Comic Con and plan to wear it out trick or treating with the little one this year!
