This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Teresa, the 'Color Changing Princess Aurora' costume creator:
I made myself a color changing Princess Aurora dress. There is also hidden speakers under the skirt with sound effect that are sequenced to the color changing. I used fiber optic fabric imported from France (the only company who makes it) with High Power 3W RBG LED lights, one 2560 Arduino Micro Controller, and Adafruit FX Sound Board. I used clear side view fiber optic cord for the piping in the bodice.
I don't have any pictures of me in it yet but I have it on my dress form. Here is a video of the dress changing colors:
