This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lan, the 'Kevin, Russell, and Carl Frederickson' costume creator:
Kevin the Snipe (my husband), Mr.Fredrickson (my son), and Russell (me!). We wanted to have costumes that would work without our son, with our son, and just our son. We love the movie and took the longest to talk hubs to be Kevin. Russell's costume consisted of getting the yellow polo, hat, and shorts from goodwill (I had the socks and boots). Making everything else with hot glue, felt, furniture felt pads (badges) + iron on decals (badges, hat, flag). Kevin's head was built off of an existing dinosaur mask from the dollar store and felt feathers glued onto a hooded sweatshirt. Mr. fredrickson was mostly clothes we bought, a cane built from pvc piping and tennis balls, glasses ordered, and gray spray for hair.
