This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.

This year at one of my local pubs they hosted a halfway to Halloween party, last minute I decided to go but I had no costume and not a lot of money so I came up with this idea.

I went to the local thrift shop and bought an old much too small wedding dress and a few strands of fake ivy. I had the wig from previous years and had the green table cloth, I used the table cloth as a cape to cover the back of the dress because I couldn't get the dress zipped and I used fabric paint to paint the dress green and yellow I cut the bottom off and used a mini skirt I had. I cut the arms off as well and slid one sleeve up as high as it could go because they were so small haha. I glued the ivy all over used a green shirt to rip and braid for the head band and had leftover contacts from previous years but I didn't have a matching set that is why I decided to make it appear as if the ivy was taking over one side of my body including the white eye. the entire outfit costs me 18 dollars but took me about three hours of rushing to get it completed.

All in all I was extremely please with myself and cant wait to create more amazing things from this brain of mine hope you all enjoy!
