This homemade costume for kids entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Pamela, the 'McDonald's Fries' costume creator:

This is my son, Hunter. He wanted to be French fries for Halloween. I took two red display boards, shaped them and attached them. I printed the M and cut it out and glued it to the front. I bought foam from the fabric store, cut it into fry shapes with an exacto knife and spray painted them yellow. I used ribbon to make straps on the inside to rest his arms on. I used a hot glue gun to secure everything.

Hi. Do you remember what thickness the foam was? Great job on the costume! I am going to try this for my son. He is obsessed with French fries.

Where did you find white foam? All I'm finding is green!! Or did it work to spray paint the green?

Can you post more details of how you made it and form where did you buy the raw materials. How did you attach the straps? How did you attach two display boards?
