Medusa Costume

My daughter is dressed as Medusa. She wanted to be something scary & different from everyone else. For the hair I used a black wig and either sewed or hot glued hand carved and painted snakes. I used styrofoam and mesh tubing for the snakes. I also decided to add some moss and strips of cheesecloth into the hair along with a few other details. For the costume, I used black leggings with a gold tank and wrapped cheesecloth around her for the toga. For the forehead makeup I used green face paint and dabbed it over fishnet hose to make it look like scales.
