This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jazmine, the 'Medusa' costume creator:
costume was made for my daughter. Dress was purchased at goodwill as a woman dress. sewed the dress down and added some tulle to it. braided her hair with pipe cleaner to ensure that i could form her hair to stand up a bit. we planned on putting her fake snakes in there too but they were more so weighing the hair down so she just used them as accessories. and then for the make up we just tired to use tulle as a stencil and used green powder over it to give the look of scales.
