Paw Patrol Family Costume

My sons love the show Paw Patrol on Nick Jr., so I made them costumes of their favorite characters; Liam as Ryder and Kade as Rubble. I then decided it would be fun to make it a family affair and dressed up as Mayor Goodway and my husband as Captain Turbot from the show. Our family dog also joined the fun as Rocky. All of the costumes are handmade from existing clothing items I had or found at second hand stores. I only needed to order a few specialty items and accessories to finish the look.
Ryder- used red puffy vest and sewed details; bought iron on patch for logo (vest total cost $20); accessory pup pad ($15)
Rubble- used yellow zip jacket and set of plain brown cotton jammies, altered by sewing to make vest. Used existing toy piece for dog tag. Sewed ears, tail, paw mitts, backpack. Bought hard hat and boots. Total cost $60
Mayor Goodway- I used all clothing items I had except the skirt which I bought second hand ($7). I did purchase the chicken puppet ($14)
Captain Turbot- again I used all clothing items we owned, but had to purchase the yellow bibs- used $20
Rocky- I purchased a dog hat and modified it with felt and ordered a green dog shirt and orange dog collar. Total cost $17
